Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Professional to join our organisation as a Senior Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to make a significant impact in the field of taxation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to analyse complex tax issues and provide solutions. They will also have experience working with Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firms and/or multinational corporations.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires the successful candidate to manage timely and accurate completion of corporate income tax returns, providing guidance to senior management on complex tax issues, and assisting with various issues related to global mobility.

The role involves staying up to date with industry trends and changes in tax legislation, providing training and guidance to junior staff members, and performing ad-hoc research in relation to tax issues arising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage timely and accurate completion of corporate income tax returns ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance to senior management on complex tax issues, identify tax savings opportunities, and develop strategies to minimise tax liability.
  • Assist senior management with various issues related to global mobility.
  • Assist senior management with internal and external tax inquiries/tax audits as they arise.
  • Assist with the preparation of local and master transfer pricing files.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Professional tax qualification (AITI/CTA or equivalent), ideally accounting qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • PQE tax experience with Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation desired.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A high level of motivation and a friendly manner to enable effective and positive engagement with colleagues, external advisors, and key stakeholders.
  • Comfort with being self-directed and learning quickly to tackle time-sensitive tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and matters simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyse complex tax issues and provide solutions.
