High Voltage (HV) Tendering Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage (HV) Tendering Engineer to join our team in Dublin. As part of our Business Development, Engineering, and Operations teams, you will work on major construction projects with a leading Tier 1 contractor.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the tendering process for Power & Renewables (High Voltage) projects
  • Develop compliant tender documents, including technical and commercial inputs
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, commercial, and support teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage client interface during tender and post-tender clarifications to ensure timely resolution of queries
  • Coordinate electrical and civil engineering interfaces for tenders to guarantee compliance with project requirements
  • Attend and lead post-tender meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns
  • Review tender specifications and ensure that Bid deliverables are met to maintain high standards of quality
  • Liaise with Estimation to develop commercial proposals that meet client needs
  • Ensure compliance with business procedures and highlight risks to minimize potential impact
  • Manage tender submissions via various portals to streamline the process
  • Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce risk, thereby enhancing overall project success
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years experience in High Voltage tendering or related roles, with a strong understanding of commercial fundamentals and project bid management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficient IT skills for reports and presentations to facilitate efficient data analysis and visualization
  • Experience managing multiple, multi-disciplinary tenders simultaneously to ensure timely completion and high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to achieve shared goals
  • Solution-focused mindset and flexible to travel to meet project requirements
