Staff Materials Strategist

Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Staff Engineer to develop and lead our material management strategy.
- The ideal candidate will drive high-impact technical initiatives to resolve technical material issues that impact product quality, performance, and supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of significant Engineering projects through PMO.
- Interface with Materials Science, Design and Quality Assurance departments to provide customer with a quality product in a timely manner.
- Provide support to Process Development / Advanced Operations on technology development and application within the manufacturing process.
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate OS and Material specifications.
Requirements:
- Required Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering.
- 4 plus years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in material selection, material processing, extrusion, and injection molding with medical grade materials.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents.
- Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic and results motivated environment.
