Social work service delivery is a vital component of the Safeguarding & Protection Team's efforts to provide support and services for Older Persons aged 65+ and over 18's with a disability.

As a Social Work Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that social work services are delivered in accordance with CORU's Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for the Social Work profession, relevant legislation, and HSE policies, procedures, guidelines, and protocols.

The role involves managing the day-to-day provision of the social work service, working closely with the Principal Social Worker to ensure an equitable, standardized, and person-centered approach.

A key aspect of this position is taking direct responsibility for a defined caseload, particularly cases requiring high-level experience and expertise.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must be registered in the Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board at CORU and maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register.

Applicants should also possess three years' relevant post-qualification experience and demonstrate a high standard of suitability, professional, and managerial ability.
