Key Retail Position

The face of the business, this role involves interacting with customers, accepting and processing payments for goods, administering sales and transactions, and providing exceptional customer service experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payments by cash, cheque, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits.
  • Compute and record transactions with 100% accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times.
  • Cash handling and safe custody of collected cash.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through friendly and professional service.
  • Answer and follow up on customer enquiries at the cash desk and on the phone.
  • Adhere to Cashier Policies and Procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Leaving cert or equivalent is required. Must have experience working face to face with the public in a customer service role.
  • Preferably have 1-3 years retail experience. Basic level excel skills are necessary.
  • Customer oriented ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Confident, outgoing and people orientated. Have a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong numerical & logical ability to handle money and work with numbers.
  • Hardworking, conscientious, & self-motivated. High personal and interpersonal energy levels.
