We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Summer Camp Nurse. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique and dynamic environment, providing healthcare services to individuals aged 12-20.

About the Role

The Summer Camp Nurse will be responsible for providing first aid treatment, managing chronic conditions, and liaising with parents as needed. You will also be on call during evenings and nights to ensure the health and well-being of campers.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality patient care and administering first aid treatment as necessary.
  • Managing chronic conditions and escalating care where required.
  • Liaising with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's health and well-being.
  • Being on call during evenings and nights to respond to any medical emergencies that may arise.
Requirements:
  • NMBI registration as a nurse.
  • Positive demeanour and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in ED or community nursing is preferable.
  • Experience working with people with ASD is an asset.
  • Garda vetting through Clarity Locums.
  • Compliance up to date in accordance with HSE guidelines.
