  • Manage site labour and subcontractors to complete finishing works efficiently.
  • Plan and schedule tasks to meet deadlines and allocate resources effectively.
  • Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries and weekly reports, to ensure up-to-date documentation.
  • Coordinate snagging works and address issues promptly to the highest standard.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety protocols, and quality standards throughout all finishing stages.
  • Act as key point of contact for client representatives and purchasers, handling queries related to finishing works.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support handover processes and resolve post-completion issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree or trade qualification in Construction Management, Carpentry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of trades, particularly carpentry, and in-depth understanding of construction methods.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with collaborative approach to team management.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with proactive attitude towards solving problems.
