Process Engineer: A Key Role in Manufacturing Excellence

Job Description:

As a Process Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement and lead critical projects within our dynamic manufacturing engineering team. Your primary focus will be on delivering life-changing healthcare solutions through innovative approaches and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough product and process evaluations, ensuring meticulous documentation.
  • Provide expert support to manufacturing teams on critical issues, including major customer complaints, line-down situations, and validations.
  • Investigate and resolve process deviations, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Operate and evaluate equipment changes, providing hands-on training to operators to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Establish regular communication channels with customers and project managers to keep them informed of project status.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Promote continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen, and quality tools to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Third-level degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar manufacturing or process engineering role, preferably within the medical device sector or a regulated industry.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, with experience in structured methodologies such as FMEA and root cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with process validations, Lean principles, and technical report writing is essential.
