Data Scientist Advocate

The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association is seeking a Senior Data Science Expert to collaborate with scientists across disease and functional areas to advance research and drug development, with a focus on immunology programs.
You will help build a comprehensive platform for users and stakeholders while ensuring proper governance and accelerating research across the continuum of research, clinical development, and medical to unlock insights that support discovery and development of new medicines for patients.
Responsibilities include leading projects, effectively communicating with stakeholders and collaborators, actively participating in pooling and analyzing multimodal clinical trial data, developing and applying advanced ML and AI algorithms tailored to biomedical data, and acting as a connector between data resources and project teams.
Role Requirements include a PhD in data science, machine learning, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field, with substantial postdoctoral experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry, proficiency in Python, PyTorch, high performance computing, and/or R for statistical programming, proven experience in professional software development practices, understanding of biology or medicine, and proficient use of biostatistics methods for inference and hypothesis testing.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to leverage cutting-edge data analysis techniques and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes. It also requires strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including scientists, clinicians, and IT professionals.
