About the Role

This key position requires a highly motivated individual to work collaboratively with the production/engineering team, focusing on extrusion equipment and process optimization.

Responsibilities
  1. Extrusion Production Support: Assist with the production of extrusions, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  2. Yield/Efficiency Improvement: Work closely with engineering to identify and implement projects that enhance yield, efficiency, and output.
  3. Feasibility Studies and Analysis: Conduct thorough feasibility studies to optimize production processes, balance production lines, and increase outputs.
  4. Cleanroom Maintenance and Calibration: Execute regular maintenance and calibration procedures for cleanroom equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  5. Equipment Qualification: Complete qualification of new equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  6. Line Support and Troubleshooting: Provide daily support to resolve line issues and ensure smooth production operations.
  7. Quality Decision Making: Collaborate with Quality to make informed decisions on accept/reject criteria in production.
  8. Daily Meetings and Collaboration: Participate in daily meetings to drive improvement from a yield, output, and efficiency perspective, working closely with the production/engineering team.
  9. Standard Times and Efficiency: Ensure accurate and achievable standard times for each part, driving efficiency and productivity.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve production efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
