Senior Audit and Accounts Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit and Accounts professional to join our team.

  1. This is a challenging opportunity for an accomplished Accountant to lead audit assignments, manage client relationships, and contribute to the training of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead operational supervision of assignments, focusing on audit and resourcing staff to achieve exceptional client satisfaction.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective service delivery and coordination of services from other departments.
  3. Contribute to the training and development of student trainees, promoting their growth and expertise.
  4. Prepare and present reports to clients and partners, showcasing findings and recommendations.
  5. Produce accurate and comprehensive audit/audit exempt financial statements, meeting high standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
  2. Have a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience.
  3. Currently working as a senior in a practice environment, with experience in operational supervision and client relationship management.
  4. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102, and awareness of current issues.
  5. Show proficiency in audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP, and CA2014.
  6. Be capable of working with diverse clients across multiple sectors, adapting to their needs and expectations.
