Power BI Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our Business Information Systems (BIS) team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting dashboards across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Topdesk-based Service/ITSM reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI development and support, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. You will work closely with business stakeholders to improve reporting usability and accuracy, and provide second-line support for Power BI issues escalated by junior BIS team members.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong skills in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI data modeling. You will integrate data from various sources, including NetSuite, SAP, and Topdesk, and apply Row-Level Security (RLS) to manage sensitive data across departments.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of financial reporting and payroll/HR data structures, as well as experience integrating data from ERP systems. A background in FP&A, HR analytics, or service delivery reporting is also desirable.

  1. Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for Finance, HR, and Payroll.
  2. Integrate data from NetSuite, SAP, Topdesk, Excel-based sources, and other applications using Power Query (M) and DAX.
  3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve reporting usability and accuracy.
  4. Maintain report refreshes, data pipelines, and shared datasets across multiple workspaces.
  5. Provide second-line support for Power BI issues escalated by junior BIS team members.
  6. Apply Row-Level Security (RLS) to manage sensitive data across departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI development and support.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong skills in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting and payroll/HR data structures.
  • Experience integrating data from ERP systems.
