Civil Infrastructure Development Specialist

Our ideal candidate for this Project Engineer role is a highly motivated and self-driven professional with a minimum Level 8 Honours Degree qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering and Chartered Membership of Engineers Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients to deliver reports, designs and associated outputs.
- Review documents and designs prepared by junior engineers.
- Prepare and review preliminary designs and reports using computer packages.
- Complete designs and drawings for site development work.
- Design surface water drainage systems and foul sewer and watermain networks.
- Liaison with Irish Water through the pre-connection enquiry and connection application processes.
- Coordinate technical delivery on projects and liaise with project staff to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
- Property inspections and preparation of detailed engineering reports.
- Preparing Designers Assessments of Risk for all designs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in statutory applications such as planning permission and fire safety certificates.
- Experience in conducting condition surveys and building regulations compliance surveys of properties.
- Skilled knowledge of Building Regulations and Technical Guidance Documents AM.
- Proficient understanding of drainage design principles and implementation of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.
