General Casualty Business Developer

A global insurance leader seeks a seasoned Casualty Underwriter to grow and develop the General Casualty business in Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Casualty Underwriting, with strong relationships with brokers and customers, and a deep understanding of policy forms.
Key responsibilities include underwriting Primary and Excess accounts, analyzing and documenting risks, and effectively communicating the company's value proposition.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand existing ones through strategic partnerships and negotiations
- Risk Management: Analyze and assess risks associated with various accounts, and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with brokers, customers, actuaries, and claims teams to drive growth and excellence
