Job Overview

Stryker Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our Advanced Operations team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing approaches and concepts for next-generation surgical instruments.

This role requires a hands-on practical approach with a high level of manufacturing process competence. You will investigate ways to manufacture/assemble electronics into powered instrumentation within an ecosystem of various supporting systems. Your primary responsibility will be to develop manufacturing solutions for electronics components and associated assembly processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Electronics Design for Manufacture/Assembly and experience in process validation. You will also have a proven track record of working in a team-based environment and excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will be able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. If you are an innovative thinker who can envision new and better ways of doing things, we would like to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities

- Develop manufacturing solutions for electronics components and associated assembly processes
- Identify and build relationships with key component suppliers
- Independently determine and develop approaches to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Use latest engineering techniques to reduce product time to market whilst adhering to regulatory requirements, project deadlines, and product costs

Requirements

- B.S in Automation / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering (Level 8), or related engineering discipline with 4 or more years' experience or a related master's degree
- High level of manufacturing process competence, with a hands-on practical approach
- Electronics Design for Manufacture/Assembly experience
- Experienced in process validation
