Senior Geologist for Exploration and Mine Planning

Job Description: The Mining Geologist will conduct geological mapping and sampling programs to evaluate mineral resources, interpret geological data to support mine planning and resource estimation, and develop and maintain geological models for resource evaluation and grade control. The successful candidate will also collaborate with mine engineers to optimize ore extraction and minimize waste.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological mapping and sampling programs to evaluate mineral resources.

Requirements:
To succeed as a Mining Geologist, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mining or exploration geology. You should also be experienced with geological software such as Leapfrog, Surpac, or Datamine, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, knowledge of Irish mining regulations and environmental legislation is a plus, as well as excellent communication and report-writing skills.
