Salary
The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scale, with an annual salary of €48,412 gross per annum. Remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Sustainable Urban Tourism Futures. The post is fixed-term for up to 5 years with initial funding for 2 years. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in human geography, urban studies, entrepreneurial studies, social sciences, social policy, sustainable development, or related fields.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A PhD or equivalent in human geography, urban studies, entrepreneurial studies, social sciences, social policy, sustainable development, or related fields.
- Evidence of a research profile and publication record within the requisite subject area.
- Knowledge of research techniques and methodologies, especially qualitative and mixed methods.
- Proficiency in qualitative data analysis.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to high-quality research.
