Job Summary:

TN Ireland requires an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead sales and distribution efforts in the Republic/North Ireland regions.

This role encompasses managing sales, operations, transport, demand planning, stock management, account management, and sales development. The successful candidate will also lead sales and operations administrators, manage facilities development, staff training, and health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in commercial management, particularly in metals-based distribution and supply chain into electrical manufacturing/product assembly sectors. They must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of operations and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate sales and operations teams to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  3. Transport Management: Oversee transport sourcing and management to optimize delivery times and costs.
  4. Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
  5. Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and protocols throughout the organization.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Commercial Background: Proven commercial management experience in metals-based distribution and supply chain into electrical manufacturing/product assembly sectors.
  2. Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
  3. Technical Skills: Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
