Job Description

This role is a unique opportunity to work in cutting-edge data centers, driving innovation in Cloud technology. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations team responsible for maintaining and upgrading the data center infrastructure.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to complete routine tasks and projects. Responsibilities include:

  1. Meeting SLA's against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow
  2. First-line troubleshooting and technical issue resolution
  3. Performing regular server hardware repairs and maintenance
  4. Carrying out routine network, server hardware, and OS-related repairs
  5. Engaging with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs
  6. Adhering to security and safety best practices in the data center

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience in networking

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective customer service experience during problem resolution
  • Ability to operate efficiently under pressure
