The Role- Prepare dishes and ingredients as directed by the Executive Head Chef or Sous Chef, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist in alternative kitchen sections as required, supporting the team to ensure seamless communication and task completion.
- Ensure mise en place is ready for service and meets forecasted business levels, contributing to a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Support the team in ensuring guest requests are met efficiently, providing excellent customer service.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and task completion, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Meet presentation standards set by the Executive Head Chef, consistently delivering high-quality dishes.
- Work towards meeting targets with labor and food costs, optimizing kitchen efficiency and productivity.
- HACCP knowledge and certification
- Culinary qualification preferred, with experience in a similar role or relevant industry
