Reliability Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Cork. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work with a leading multinational organization that is renowned for its excellence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe execution of activities in accordance with statutory, environmental, regulatory (cGMP), corporate site and department practices and procedures.
  • Contribute to equipment design, construction, commissioning and qualification activities.
  • Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel and other departments as required.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and equipment files.
  • Assist with the generation, review and revision of maintenance documentation as necessary.
  • Develop and manage the critical equipment list.
  • Optimize the site preventive maintenance program (RCM/FMECA based).
  • Develop and manage the condition monitoring program.
  • Analyze equipment data to report on equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement the latest maintenance approaches and techniques in line with the MAM COE and MAM platform initiatives.
  • Carry out all routine and non-routine tasks delegated by MAM Leadership according to appropriate procedures and standards.
  • Optimize costs while driving department performance.
  • Report to MAM Maintenance Lead and MAM Site Leadership as required.
  • Familiarize yourself with daily activities in all areas of the Maintenance department.
  • Rotate with other positions in the department as required.
  • Facilitate an environment of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Engineering.
  • Scientific or technical qualification in either mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, utilities engineering.
  • Reliability and/or Maintenance experience within a process or pharmaceutical cGMP.
  • Experience of best practices in preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, RCM or FMECA.
