Life Sciences is an exciting sector, and we are seeking a skilled Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Nrl Ireland. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for all aspects of Electrical Quantity Surveying, including pre- and post-contract work across various sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on Life Science projects. You will have a strong understanding of contract indirect packages and be able to work well within a team. A Quantity Surveying degree and commercial awareness are also essential.
Your duties will include preparing capital cost estimates, assisting in tendering procedures, and negotiating contracts. You will also be responsible for providing advice on tendering procedures, drafting instructions to tenderers, and evaluating tender submissions. In addition, you will report to the Commercial Manager and handle commercial aspects of projects, including interim valuations, cost reporting, client and contractor meetings, negotiations, and contract claims.
