Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platforms Technical Support team member to join our Security Platforms team, which is part of the State Street Cyber Fusion Centre. This team designs, manages, and supports the security tools that enable security operations across State Street.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monitoring, maintenance, and support of our DLP platforms to ensure the protection of sensitive data across the enterprise.
  • Work closely with senior team members to troubleshoot platform and agent issues and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Act as the first point of contact for DLP platform-related support requests.
  • Monitor logs, alerts, and perform routine checks and updates to ensure the DLP platforms are functioning optimally.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of DLP platform support procedures and configurations.
  • Provide technical support to end-users regarding DLP tools.
  • Work with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance our risk-driven data protection.
  • Tune and upgrade system components, following internal testing and change management processes.
  • Contribute to projects that improve current capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth.

Requirements:

  • Foundational Cyber Security knowledge, with experience in DLP and Endpoint Security tooling.
  • Exposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview.
  • Strong foundational skills supporting platforms running on Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices and techniques would be advantageous.
  • A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security.
  • A desire to learn, combined with a collaborative working style and strong personal work ethic.
  • Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment, emphasizing reliability and system availability.
  • Experience in distributed, international teams would be beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A degree is not required for this role, but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficial.
  • Security certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC or similar, relevant product certifications).
  • Experience in financial services may be beneficial.

Additional Requirements: These roles may be filled in Ireland (Dublin or Kilkenny preferred, or remote) or United States (MA preferred, or remote). This team supports 24/7 operations which may require weekend work.
