We are seeking an individual who is passionate about providing person-centered support, promoting independence, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support services that promote the well-being, dignity, and rights of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
This includes assisting with daily living tasks, developing and implementing personalized plans, and coordinating activities to enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Develop and implement personalized plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
- Coordinate activities and outings to enhance quality of life and promote social interaction
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of a Level 7 qualification in Social Care or equivalent
- 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
- An understanding of current policy and developments in relation to Social Care within disability services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
