Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Llvm compiler optimization engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compiler frameworks and IR optimizations.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing LLVM IR transformation passes to optimize deep learning primitives for various cutting-edge AI frameworks targeted for Intel's accelerators.
Additionally, you will profile distributed deep learning models to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions across individual component teams.
You will also optimize code for various computing hardware backends and interact with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of innovative AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop LLVM IR transformation passes to optimize deep learning primitives
- Profile distributed deep learning models to identify performance bottlenecks
- Optimize code for various computing hardware backends
- Interact with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers
Requirements
- Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of experience with compiler frameworks, design and implementation of IR optimizations in C/C++
- Experience with development of LLVM transformation passes
- Good understanding of graph based algorithms
- Good system-level debugging skills
- Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks will be beneficial
- Strong production software engineering background, experience with CI, code reviews, paired programming, unit and integration testing
