Marine Civil Engineer Opportunity">

We are seeking a skilled Marine Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Marine Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of marine-based projects.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and experience in marine civil engineering. However, we welcome candidates with civil engineering project experience who are motivated and eager to learn.

The role offers excellent career development and promotion opportunities. Our management team has many years of experience in marine civil engineering projects and will provide mentorship and guidance in the marine aspects of the civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the delivery team with tender preparation, pre-start planning, programming, and organisation prior to the start of the project.
  • Prepare drawings, programmes, QHSE documentation, and tenders alongside our management team.
  • Ensure document compliance with contract requirements and all relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Understand Health & Safety requirements to assist the project manager in preparing method statements, risk assessments, site inductions, and toolbox talks etc.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure the project is managed effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in marine civil engineering is desirable but not essential.
  • 2+ years of civil engineering experience.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant industry standards, specifications, regulations, contract documents, and works methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Irish/EU/UK driving licence.
  • Permission to work in Ireland and the UK.
