About the Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Design & Build (D+B) Design Team and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
  2. Manage design delivery project documentation, including tracking schedules of information and managing material/technical submittals.
  3. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, sustainability, cost, time, constructability, and quality standards.
  4. Support the Design Manager in chairing and minuting weekly Design Team/Information meetings.
  5. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager/Contracts Manager and site team to review upcoming information requirements.
  6. Track the Design Release/Schedule of Information.
  7. Attend design/technical workshop meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to agree systems/products.
  8. Oversee and compile Material/Technical RDD Submittals for issuance to D+B DT.
  9. Communicate with the Design Team and subcontractors until the submittal reaches minimum Status B or A approval.
  10. Complete and issue MTS's ('RDD') to the client's Technical Assessors/Multi-Disciplinary Technical Team.
  11. Familiarize yourself with the client's General Works Requirements and project-specific SSWR.
  12. Ensure all MTS/TS comply with the GWR, SSWR, and contract documents.
  13. Oversee the D+B DT's issuance of Design Submissions and Designer Checklists via the Autodesk CDE.
  14. Update the Design Submissions tracker on a minimum weekly basis.
  15. Maintain the RFI tracker.
  16. Liaise with the project team and DT to issue agreed RFIs as required.
  17. Ensure the site team is fully aware of and working to the latest revisions of information when Design Information is received.
  18. Manage and attend site Benchmark Mockups/FoKs, recording attendance sheets and photos.
  19. Ensure initial Benchmarks/FoKs are completed on-site between site supervision, subcontractors/suppliers, manufacturers, and installers.
  20. Develop a good working relationship with the Assigned Certifier and their Material Technical Submittals reviewer.
  21. Verify that MTS from subcontractors/suppliers have up-to-date documents such as DOPs/CE markings.
  22. Assist with BCAR management, site inspections, and receipt of BCAR documentation from subcontractors/suppliers.
  23. Participate in site QA/QC and closure of IFCOs received from the DT and the clients Assigned Certifier.
  24. Keep the project QS informed of any client or DT changes to the design with commercial implications.
  25. Contribute to bi-weekly Contractors Progress reports, focusing on design-related activities.
