Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Providing personalized care and support to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being at all times.
- Working collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress, ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career as a Healthcare Assistant, with a strong desire to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
- Enrolled in or completed QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent qualification.
- 1st and 2nd year student nurses are eligible to apply, with a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices.
- At least 1 year experience in care of the older person or comparable role is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced care environment.
- Professional, caring, and empathetic nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good standard of verbal and written English, enabling effective communication with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland, with a valid work permit or residency status.
