Workshop Operations Manager

Job Summary:
As a Workshop Controller, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our workshop. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and allocate jobs to technicians and apprentices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with service administrators regarding workshop loading, job status, and other related matters.
- Allocate jobs to technicians and apprentices based on their skill sets and availability.
- Ongoing management and review of jobs 'on the floor' to ensure timely completion.
- Diagnostic jobs - ongoing review and analysis of diagnostic jobs to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with Master Tech as required to discuss job requirements and provide updates.
- Closing out of jobs to ensure quality control and adherence to procedures.
- Progress review meeting - regular meetings with Service Admin team and Service Manager to discuss job progress and address any concerns.
Key Requirements:
Skill Set:
A strong understanding of workshop operations and a proven track record in managing teams is essential. You should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as engineering or business administration would be advantageous.
