The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in Physiotherapy, with experience in nursing homes or healthcare settings. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicating and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying a clinical caseload, assessing patients, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with patients, families, and other team members to set and achieve goals
- Providing instruction, guidance, and support to staff, patients, and families
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to professional standards and departmental policies
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a flexible approach to their role. A full driver's license and CORU registration (or application number) are essential requirements. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in areas such as physical and intellectual disability and leadership/mentoring is desirable.
