">Job Description

The Team Leaders/Social Care Worker will provide residential and respite care within a staff team for children and adults with an intellectual disability. This role involves working closely with the Person in Charge and/or Assistant Director of Client Services to plan and implement the effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Support the management of the annual budget, including staffing and expenditure
  • Act as Person in Charge in the absence of Cluster Person in Charge as required
  • Support with Performance Management issues as they may arise
  • Ensure all staff training records are up to date
Essential Criteria
  • A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification
  • CORU Registration or in process of registration
  • Previous experience working with people with an intellectual disability or a similar field
  • Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
  • An ability to advocate on behalf of people we support
