This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global freight forwarder, handling end-to-end freight operations and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Freight Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing air, sea, and road freight shipments (import/export), handling bookings, documentation, and customs clearance processes, and tracking shipments and keeping customers updated on delivery progress.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing air, sea, and road freight shipments (import/export)
  2. Client happy to cross train on any modes in which the candidates has no experience in.
  3. Handling bookings, documentation, and customs clearance processes
  4. Tracking shipments and keeping customers updated on delivery progress
  5. Liaising with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:

We are looking for a proven Freight Management Specialist with experience in freight forwarding, preferably in general freight or aerospace. You should have strong knowledge of customs procedures and shipping regulations, as well as proficiency in freight management systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.

The shift pattern is Monday - Friday, with hours from 09:00 - 17:30. There may also be opportunities to work from home once you have passed probation. The salary range is €40,000 - €52,000 based on experience.
