We are seeking an experienced hydrogeologist to conduct assessments, manage groundwater resources and support environmental impact studies in Ireland.

About the Role:
  • Conduct groundwater investigations, sampling and data analysis
  • Develop and manage groundwater monitoring programs
  • Assess impacts of developments on groundwater
  • Design and supervise monitoring well installations
  • Prepare technical reports and interpret hydrogeological data
  • Use modeling software to simulate groundwater flow and contaminant transport
  • Provide groundwater management and remediation advice
  • Collaborate on environmental impact assessments and risk assessments
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
  • Perform fieldwork and adhere to health and safety protocols

Requirements include:

  • Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Professional experience in hydrogeology
  • Proficiency in hydrogeological software (e.g. MODFLOW, GMS)
  • Experience with GIS and data analysis
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel for fieldwork

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a deep understanding of hydrogeological principles.
