About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to lead our civil engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed defect-free and meets project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed works based on contract drawings, conducting regular site inspections.
  • Oversee the accurate establishment of level and survey control for contracts, liaising with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, allocation sheets, and compliance documentation.
  • Address technical challenges proactively, providing solutions-driven approaches to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop and manage procurement schedules, collaborating with the procurement team to secure necessary resources.
  • Promote best practices across all site operations, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Establish a safe working environment, enforcing high safety standards and championing EHS awareness among teams.
  • Evaluate and ensure strict compliance with company procedures and legal requirements, upholding environmental stewardship across activities.
  • Cultivate a strong customer focus throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum third-level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering or similar field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in site-based setting out, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
  • A self-driven individual with a positive attitude, adept at achieving results-oriented outcomes.
  • Experience in temporary work coordination, MS Project, and holding valid certifications such as Safe Pass/SMSTS/MSIC would be beneficial.
