Job Description

As a Senior Data Architect Lead, you will play a key role in the delivery of Data Warehousing and BI projects for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to lead analysis and implementation of these projects, ensuring that they are delivered on schedule and within agreed budgets.

To achieve this, you will need to implement best practices from architectural design through to client guidance on data ingestion, data management, and visualisation.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in the analysis, planning, designing, testing, deploying, and administration of complex Cloud BI and Analytics environments.

In addition to this, you will need to have strong Data Warehouse Architecture and Data Modelling experience – cloud and on-premise – including OLAP, Star/Snowflake Schemas, Dimensional Data Modelling, Fact & Dimension tables, Physical and Logical Data Modelling.

You will also need to be an experienced Data Warehouse ETL developer who can design and develop solutions and systems from business requirements analysis through to implementation and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with the business and use your commercial acumen to lead development teams to deliver innovative and creative solutions.
  • Play a key role in the definition and implementation of best practices in relation to data design and implementation, making recommendations on how to improve development processes and standards.
  • Work with customers to help them leverage data to gain deeper insights and drive business improvements.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence by the development team to Clear Strategy design and development standards, policies, and processes.
  • Share technical knowledge and experience to help develop and mentor more junior or less experienced data consultants, leading with high performance to help them reach their full potential.
