About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant within our growing Fund Accounting department. As a Senior Consultant, you will have responsibility for accurately reviewing and signing off NAV calculations, be the subject matter expert on the team for all fund-specific requirements, and take the lead in rolling out new system enhancements and procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Review and sign off NAV calculations.
  • Be the technical and subject matter expert on the team for all fund-specific requirements.
  • Take the lead in rolling out new system enhancements and procedures.
  • Collate and provide feedback from the Fund Accounting department to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Previous fund accounting experience or relevant operational/accounting experience preferred.
  2. Detailed Knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting applications preferred with the ability to implement interfaces with other systems.
  3. Maintain an understanding of the industry and NT, in particular NT's systems, infrastructure, and process/data flows.
  4. Experience with vendors an advantage (Bloomberg, Reuters etc).
  5. Strong communication, first-class presentation, and internal and external client-servicing skills.
  6. Demonstrates willingness to help others outside the team.
  7. Good prioritisation, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
  8. Organise own workload and establish priorities.
  9. Demonstrates good knowledge of standards and procedures required for own tasks.
  10. Excellent PC skills especially MS Excel.
  11. Third-level qualification or pursuing a professional accounting qualification an advantage but not required.
