Job Title: Direct Entry Engineer

Role Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, you will maintain and repair critical onboard systems, including propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on critical systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary machinery
  • Participate in emergency response operations at sea
Requirements
  • Citizenship: Irish citizen or legally entitled to work in Ireland
  • Meet medical, physical, and security clearance standards
  • Age: 18-39 years
  • Qualifications:
    • HETAC Level 7 in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
    • QQI Advanced Certificate Craft in Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Fitting, Diesel Fitting, or Motor Mechanics
    • Department of Marine & Natural Resources Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) Certificate of Competency
