Job Description

As a healthcare supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of care within our organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to support, develop and oversee our care team to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular spot checks with healthcare assistants in the community to verify compliance with quality of care standards.
  • Evaluate and monitor the quality of care provided to clients, identifying areas for improvement and reporting concerns to senior management.
  • Support and assist in the development of the care team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Update online system documentation, including reviews and spot checks, to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Relevant health or social care background, with a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices.
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in healthcare, with a proven track record of leadership and teamwork.
  • Full QQI Level 5 Major award in Healthcare Support, demonstrating a solid foundation in healthcare knowledge and skills.
  • Level 6 qualification in Supervisory Management, showcasing advanced leadership and management capabilities.
