Role Overview

The Health Service Executive Dublin and North East Region is seeking an experienced Consultant Radiologist to fill a vacant position in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. As a key member of the radiology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services, specializing in pediatric radiology and MRI.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI scans, to support patient care.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient imaging results.
Requirements
  • Registration in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialties of radiology.
  • Certified postgraduate training in pediatric radiology and one year certified postgraduate training/fellowship in MRI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
