Tax Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advice to clients, with a focus on transaction structuring and legal document review.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 4-5 years' post-qualification experience in a tax department of a large practice. They will have strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions
  • Advise on the tax implications of transaction structures and design innovative solutions tailored to client objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Review and analyze legal documentation from a tax perspective and provide proactive recommendations to address potential tax risks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor for all M&A tax-related matters

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their expertise in tax-efficient acquisition, financing, and exit strategies, as well as their ability to stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. They will also have excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior team members.

Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA or CTA qualification
  • Minimum 4-5+ years' post-qualification experience in a tax department of a large practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and mentoring skills
