
Occupational Therapy Manager

This is a senior position for an occupational therapist in the acute medicine department. The successful candidate will deliver expert occupational therapy services to patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive occupational therapy programs for patients with complex needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide individualized interventions to meet patient goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor junior occupational therapists and students.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services.
- A Master's degree or equivalent in occupational therapy.
- Registration with the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- At least three years of post-qualification experience as an occupational therapist in the adult acute hospital setting.
- Clinical experience working with Acute Medicine and Care of the Elderly caseloads.
- A proven record of clinical/academic achievement in the specialist area.
