Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

This role will suit a senior mechanical engineer who has previously led large projects from concept to completion.

The purpose of this role is to be the technical lead of an engineering design team to ensure we achieve our project deliverables.

  • Developing innovative design solutions for new projects.
  • Interfacing with client design teams/end user leads for technical and safety reviews.
  • Design of building services engineering design - leading the preparation of architectural, foundation and detailing documents, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and equipment sizing calculations.
  • Managing teams in the execution of project life cycles, overseeing HVAC system BIM modeling progress by your team, planning resources, measuring and reporting progress against agreed deliverables, estimating resource requirements for projects through life cycles, and delivery of agreed design scope within hours and schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in building services or mechanical engineering (level 8).
  • Significant design experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
  • Led teams, investing time in coaching and developing future leaders.
  • Strong design experience of utilities including steam, low-pressure hot water, chilled water.
