Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct report to O&M Manager and Deputy
  • Ensuring the smooth, lawful, and efficient running of the operation & maintenance depot in liaison with managers as appropriate and following the leadership and direction of the Deputy O&M Manager in collaboration with the O&M Manager and working in unison with them for contract delivery (of the MMaRC Gen 2 "the Contract"), including the direct line management of staff locally and maintenance of all standards and controls set out in the Contract.
  • Ensure compliance with all duties and responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Construction Regulations 2013, the Protection of the Environment Act 2003, and all other Regulations, Codes of Practice, Etc.
  • Programming and planning works.
  • Depot housekeeping and plant maintenance.
  • Salt management (strategic TII), weighbridge calibration, loading shovel delegation, coordinating local authorities' deliveries, (Balbriggan only).
  • Inspections of site works, quality control, and ensuring front-line standards of work are sustained.
