Our mission is to deliver exceptional wheelchair seating solutions to individuals with complex needs. We seek a highly motivated Technician to provide technical expertise, founded on sound engineering principles, and contribute to our specialist team of caring professionals.

Job Description:

This role involves working in partnership with clinical and technical staff to assess, fit, and handover seating equipment. The clinician ensures clinical suitability, while the successful candidate will ensure manufacturing and technical integrity.

  • Quality management
  • Use of 3D scanning & CAD software
  • Exploration of alternative manufacturing techniques

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NFQ Level 7 qualification in engineering or related field, or Level 6 with significant experience
  • Workshop and machine tools training, minimum 5 years' experience with machine tools and power tools
  • Technical competence (practical assessment required)

Key responsibilities include assessing customer needs, selecting and fitting suitable wheelchair seating solutions, and maintaining accurate records. Successful applicants will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a SeatTech Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that meet customer expectations. This requires a strong understanding of technical principles and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
