Yard Worker

Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Yard Operative to join our busy warehouse team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the yard and stores, handling deliveries, stock, and customer orders safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Loading and offloading deliveries, checking goods on arrival, and ensuring correct storage.
• Operating forklifts to move and organise materials in the yard and stores.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with general warehouse duties.
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and free of obstructions to ensure a safe environment.
• Carrying out routine checks on forklifts and equipment, and complying with all health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative, or similar role;
• Forklift experience is required, Forklift licence and Manual Handling certification beneficial (training can be provided if required)
• Full Irish driver's licence essential;
• Strong organisational and communication skills;
• Aged 25+ (due to insurance requirements).
