Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and end of life support to clients in their own homes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Personal care responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Companionship involves engaging with clients through conversation, activities, and social interactions.
  • Maintaining clients' dignity and respect is paramount in this role.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also provide dementia care and assist with client mobility.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A strong desire to work in healthcare and deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as QQI Level 5 modules or equivalent, in areas like Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
