Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality reporting solutions. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time, meeting customer needs and expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or application support with strong SQL skills, preferably in Oracle, DB2, or Postgres.
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar web-based platforms.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages like Python, Linux Shell, PowerShell, C#, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying data solutions on Azure Cloud.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, uDeploy, Concourse) and creating deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of IAM roles, security policies, certificates, and cloud security practices.
  • Experience with system administration on Windows or Linux and preferably Denodo administration.
  • Strong application support background with troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Data analysis experience with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving tenacity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across dispersed teams with excellent communication skills.
