AWS Cloud Security Architect Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security solutions across our cloud infrastructure. As a subject matter expert in AWS IAM and AWS Security Services, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices and secure architecture principles are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Design and implement security solutions following the AWS Well-Architected Framework to safeguard our cloud environment from potential threats
2. Collaborate with teams to develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments that align with business strategy and integrate with existing systems
3. Identify security gaps and implement proactive improvements to maintain the highest level of security standards
4. Develop and maintain up-to-date architectural diagrams and security documentation to ensure clear understanding of cloud security processes and best practices by all stakeholders

Requirements:


1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Security Architecture
2. Strong expertise in AWS IAM, least privilege policies, and identity provider integrations
3. Hands-on experience in secure architecture design and security best practices
4. Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting as well as experience working in an Agile environment
5. AWS Associate Level Certification (Required)
