Job Title: Teacher - Education and Learning Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Teacher - Education and Learning Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for educating students in accordance with the Teaching Council's Code of Professional Conduct for Teachers.

Your primary objective will be to provide learning and support to students, teaching them the curriculum subject area(s). You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in ongoing professional development.

This is a specific purpose contract covering a maternity leave, offering an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach the curriculum subject area(s) to students, ensuring they meet their educational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including grades, attendance, and behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality education programs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in education.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of the curriculum subject area(s) and ability to teach effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
