Role Summary

This role involves providing mechanical engineering solutions to our clients in County Offaly. As a Senior Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the management of mechanical plant and machinery, including maintenance and supervision of a team of mechanical foremen, fitters, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for mechanical plant and machinery.

  • Supervise and train a team of mechanical foremen, fitters, and contractors.

  • Collaborate with environmental bodies to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Maintain awareness of Health and Safety, Compliance with toolbox talks, safety inspections, and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, equivalent to Level 8 on the National Framework.

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.

  • Possess access to a form of transport that permits travel throughout Ireland.

  • Have knowledge and experience on the maintenance of construction plant and upkeep of statutory compliance obligations for on and off-road vehicles.

  • Have knowledge and experience of Health, Safety, and Welfare, practice and legislation in a work environment.
